After purchasing this home near Ideal Market in Boulder, the new homeowner called us to tear out the dated granite countertops and replace them with something more organic and in tune with the rest of this whole house rennovation.
Paired with a custom cold-rolled steel bar and backsplash the concrete completes the modern feel of this home. Simple, but gorgeous, natural gray concrete counters feature an integrated sink, custom integral drainboard, and a cast in recess for a cutting board next to the sink.
We also embedded a piece of mild steel beside the oven for a convenient place to set hot pots and pans.
